Job Overview
Adaptive Composites is seeking to fill a full-time position in marine body repair to perform body work on high-end, new boats.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Sands boat area to be gelcoated
- Applies masking tape or paper to protect other areas of the boat from paint
- Primes and paints repaired surfaces, using paint spray guns and motorized sanders
- Files, grinds, sands and smooths filled or repaired surfaces using power tools and hand tools
- Mixes polyester resins and hardeners to be used in the final finishing processes
- Removes small pits and dimples in boat
- Keeps work area clean and organized
Qualifications / Requirements
- Mid Level Experience (2-5 years)
- Experience with fiberglass, body repair, paint and finish required
- Experience with gelcoat preferred, but willing to train the right person.
