This program teaches skills for careers in the marine industry including motor technicians, electronic installation technicians, rigger and more. The course provides hands-on training in troubleshooting, service and repair out-board motors, in-board motors, and other skills.
Yamaha Maintenance Certification Program
Great Lakes Community Action Partnership
GLCAP has a partnership with Yamaha Corporation and Yamaha Marine University for participants to complete Yamaha’s Maintenance Certification Program (MCP) in a series of modules. The hours from the 5 tracks with this program matriculate to GLCAP Marine Services Technician Apprenticeship Program.
