Job Overview
We are looking to add a reliable and safety-conscious Driver to our team. This is a part-time position responsible for safely operating company vehicles, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of boats products, and supporting various operations related to our marine industry services. This position requires attention to detail, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Safely transports and moves boats and equipment as assigned, using forklift as needed
- Follows all safety and compliance regulations
- Maintains company vehicle in proper condition, upkeep of logs/mileage/fluid changes
- Clearly communicates to management the schedule and timing of all assignments
- Completes all other tasks as requested by management
- Reports any damages or concerns about the boats or equipment to management
- Other duties as requested.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License
- Experience operating larger vehicles and transporting big equipment
- Forklift certification preferred
- Clean MVR
- Pass drug screening and background check
- Capable of moving objects of 100 pounds or more; standing and sitting for prolonged periods; and repeating motions that may include the wrist, hands, and fingers
- Exhibits positive and energetic demeanor in the work environment to contribute to Sales and Service team member objectives
- Ability to make independent decisions
- Demonstrates attentiveness when customers are on the lot, assisting as needed
- Promotes team attitude and supports other team members, departments and locations to ensure the customer has a seamless experience through the sale, delivery, and subsequent servicing of the boat
- Preserves the professional image of the company while traveling
Salary: $10-20hr
