Huron Lagoons Marina is looking for a full-time Fiberglass/Gel Coat Specialist responsible for the safe structural repairs of vessels that we service and maintaining a safe and clean environment throughout the service facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Vessel repairs including but not limited to, interior and exterior repairs
- Stringer and transom repairs
- Painting, brush, roller, and air spray
- Refurbishing to include but not limited to, fiberglass, wood, steel and aluminum
- Buffing and waxing
- Upholstery work
- Electronic installation
- Shrink wrapping
- To help and assist other employees wherever and whenever needed
- Daily inspection and maintenance of service department to provide a clean and safe facility
- Availability to work overtime when required
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
Qualifications / Requirements
- Valid Ohio Driver’s License
- Criminal background check (Required)
- HLM is a drug free work place, you must pass a pre-employment drug screen
- References available
- Factory Certified in applications of paints, fillers and resins.
- Ability to work safely around the water
- Must be able to swim
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Basic boat handling skills preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic power tools
- Must have own tools
- Professional appearance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service and an understanding of customers’ needs
- Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills while working both independently and within a team context
- Organizational skills are a must
- Demonstrates ability to prioritize and work unsupervised
- Eager to engage in a growing, fast paced, and industry-leading company
Salary: Based on experience and skills
