Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Diagnoses, repairs, and maintains a variety of marine engines and systems
- Performs routine service on outboards, inboards, and sterndrives
- Troubleshoots mechanical, electrical, and fuel system issues
- Conducts inspections and prepares vessels for customer delivery
- Maintains accurate service documentation
- Provides excellent customer service and communicates repair needs clearly
Qualifications / Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required with training available
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and with tools and equipment for extended periods with frequent standing, walking, bending, and working in tight spaces.
The ideal candidate will also have:
- Previous marine, mechanical, or small engine experience
- Familiarity with outboard engines and rigging systems
Salary: Starting at $25/hr, based on experience
